Mr. Cyphers practices in the areas of bankruptcy, real estate and civil litigation.

Experience:

Mr. Cyphers joined Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz, LLP in November, 2009. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in real estate development for Thiessen Homes, developer of Windsor’s Town Green Village. Mr. Cyphers moved to California from New York in 2003. While in New York, Mr. Cyphers first worked as a litigator for the GEICO insurance company and then as an associate attorney at the law firm of Morris, Duffy, Alonso & Faley in New York City.

Education and Membership:

Mr. Cyphers received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from State University of New York at Albany in 1992, and received his Juris Doctorate degree at St. John’s University School of Law in 1997.

Mr. Cyphers is admitted to practice law in the states of California, New York and Connecticut, and U.S. District Court, Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of California. He is also a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association.

Community Involvement:

Mr. Cyphers served as a Planning Commissioner for the Town of Windsor from January 2009 through July 2011. He previously served on the board of the Old Downtown Windsor Business Improvement District. Mr. Cyphers currently volunteers at Legal Aid of Sonoma County and Council on Aging.
